Disclaimers / Terms & Conditions
- Curtains come as ‘wand operation’ only, there is no option of cord operation.
- Plantation shutters with more than 10 blades in a row (approx. 1000mm) will have the louvres evenly split into two sections- meaning you will control the top 5 blades separate to the bottom 5 blades.
- Please note that if you are yet to have your flooring installed, or are planning on changing your flooring, you may be required to make a larger deduction based on the height of the flooring.
- No tools or extra accessories (paint, drill bits, packers, caulk, sand paper, gap filler, steaming machines) are provided to the customer by Curtain Club. Curtain Club includes the screws provided to install our products, along with the accessories specific to the product only.
- If the customer believes that any damage has occurred to any products prior to arrival, it is required that the customer sends images of this damage prior to them being installed. No responsibility will be taken by Curtain Club for damage occurred to products that have already been installed.
- When purchasing a 100% linen product, the customer accepts that this is a natural fibre within the fabric that is prone to contracting and expanding, therefore the drop of the curtain is likely to increase and/or decrease as the fabric is exposed to warmer and colder temperatures.
- If the customer has ordered a Basswood Timber plantation shutter as 1 panel with a width of over 1000mm, no warranty is applied to issues that occur as a result of the panel being too heavy and experiencing dropping.
- If the customer has ordered a PVC plantation shutter as 1 panel with a width of over 900mm, no warranty is applied to issues that occur as a result of the panel being too heavy and experiencing dropping.
- The roller blind chain is a choking hazard and MUST be fixed to the window frame, architrave, reveal or wall using the chain clip and screw provided.
- The small clear balls provided are required to be clipped onto the chain balls to prevent blind from rolling up and down too far. Any issues that arise as a result of these balls having not been clipped on by the customer, Curtain Club are not liable for. See installation instructions for instructions on how to correctly apply.
- The 2 different white plantation shutter colors that we provide are not Dulux colors, pure white is a stark white and natural white is a warmer white, but neither are a perfect match with their namesake from the Dulux range.
- Any basswood plantation shutter with a height of over 1800mm will come with a midrail.
- Any PVC shutter with a height of over 1600mm will come with a midrail.
- 3mm is deducted from a plantation shutter which has been ordered with a subframe, the customer will be required to caulk this gap after the subframe has been screwed in.
- Curtain Club does not guarantee its product to customers installing into solid brickwork or masonry, this is a complex process and should be done by a professional.
- The Professional Installation fee for the total order needs to be a minimum of $350 for orders outside of the Melbourne Metropolitan area.
- It is the customers choice as to what their final fabric selection is, Curtain Club can provide advice and assist the customer in selecting a fabric, however, it is ultimately the customer who makes the final decision and bears the responsibility of the fabric and colour selection.

- The dimensions of the single bracket are 45mm x 60mm.
- If the blind is chain operated, the length of the roller blind chain will be either 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm, 1750mm or 2000mm. The length of the chain provided will be the nearest, shorter of these lengths to the final height of the blind you have ordered.

- The projection of blinds on a dual bracket is 100mm.
- When ordering a motorised blind, 1 remote control will be provided per room, please advise us if you require more or less and we will adjust your order.
Plantation Shutters
- The depth of the subframe frame for a plantation shutter with 89mm louvres is 65mm
- The depth of the subframe frame for a plantation shutter with 64mm louvres is 52mm
- The thickness of the plantation shutter frame is 26mm.

- The height of the midrail is 80mm.
- For plantation shutters with a frame and ‘inside window frame’ fix, 3mm is deducted from the width that the customer has provided.
Roman Blinds
- On a cord/chain operated Roman blind, the standard distance of the headboard at the top of the roman blind is 42mm from front to back, AKA the distance from the wall to where the fabric falls down is 42mm.
- On a motorised Roman blind, the standard distance of the headboard at the top of the roman blind is 80mm from front to back, AKA the distance from the wall to where the fabric falls down is 80mm.
- The approximate size of the blind stack when 'fully up' when ordering a blind with a 'Scalloped' base is approximately 230mm. Take this into account when measuring.
- The approximate size of the blind stack when 'fully up' when ordering a blind is a 'Flat' base is approximately 300mm. Take this into account when measuring.
- When ordering a motorised blind, 1 remote control will be provided per room, please advise us if you require more or less and we will adjust your order.
- 100% linen fabrics (Linia- Panay and Linesta, and James Dunlop- Laconia Air) are prone to expansion, hence the height/drop of the blind may slightly increase after hanging over time, hence they are not recommended to be installed 'Inside Window Frame' as this usually involves a small clearance between the bottom of the blind and the window sil.
- The lining used on a blockout Roman blind with a 'Scalloped' base is a dimout lining, not a blockout lining, as this is a softer lining required to give the blind the relaxed/unstructured shape. The blind will still be blockout, however to achieve this with a dimout fabric we need to use a darker colour, so the blind may have a lighter colour with a darker lining. We will advise you of this before placing your order into production.
- The lining used on a blockout Roman blind with a 'Flat' base is Ivory and is a typical 3 pass polyester blockout lining.
